The Temporary and Permanent ANKAme roof anchors are the ONLY roof anchors in Australia that align to all common roof screw Pattern / Profile and that have been tested by a NATA accredited company
What makes ANKAme different from other Roof anchors?
The ANKAme roof anchor complies with current Australian Standards AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 and is an accredited Product, tested by a NATA accredited testing company. Most other products are not certified or only comply with “parts of the Australian Standards and sometimes are only tested by the manufacturer making them non-compliant with Australian Standards. The ANKAme roof anchor can be installed on 9 different roof profiles but has up to 14 different applications.
Does the installer need to have completed a Working from Safe Heights Course?
The end user and installer need to be able to deem themselves competent. Therefore they must have knowledge of roofing and be trained by a relevant training authority.
Is there any maintenance required for the ANKAme?
The temporary anchor does not require any further testing or re-certification once purchased, but recommend the screw fastenings be replaced every 3 months. The permanent fix anchors once installed need to be re-certified by a competent person every 12 months as per the Australian Standards.
What fastenings are required for Timber, Steel & Concrete?
TIMBER & STEEL. The Bremick 14-20 X 65mm screw is to be used only for the temporary fix (both steel batten and timber batten) This is the only screw that can be used with the temporary anchor because this is the specific fastening used during testing.

Can I paint my ANKAme a different colour?
No. The Temporary comes as Hi Visible Orange and the Permanent Gull grey.
Can ANKAme be used on Polycarbonate roofs?
No
